Renowned luxury retail superstars Anne Engelerdt Salcedo, Megan Weber, and Wendy Easterday have now formally joined forces to provide the most knowledgeable and successful retail consultancy in the luxury hospitality sector.

Because of our specialized experience within hospitality – we build and maintained a true understanding of how retail and spa experiences directly impact a guest's an overall sense of loyalty and enthusiasm toward a brand and related purchases.

Our team is positioned to provide an East and West coast presence (from Miami to California ) to best serve the needs of our clients. We have a proven and consistent track record of building profitable retail business operations.

Our expertise is within the high-end product lines of gifts, apparel, accessories, spa, golf, logo and speciality concept shops.

About: Meet the Team

Megan Weber

Megan has spent much of her career working with luxury hotel brands and independent consulting. She began her hospitality career in Miami and opened her first Ritz-Carlton Hotel in 2001.

After working in operations, she expanded her experience to the corporate level and joined the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Product and Brand Management Team. While there, she relaunched the Shops Catalog and online store, in addition to working on newly developed hotels and resorts and supporting the retail and spa team on enhancing their product offerings. This role and her relationship with ownership groups evolved into an Asset Management position with Gencom Group in 2007.

Through this experience, she learned the business through a different lens and was able to better understand ownership needs and concerns. With a dedicated focus on Spa and Retail, Megan also improved her financial acumen in new hotel development and operations.

Seeking a new opportunity and desire to get back to her core retail roots in 2011, Megan formed Détail de Luxe with Wendy Easterday. This new venture allowed her to use her fine-honed retail and buying skills to now provide her clients to elevate and transcend their retail offerings.

Megan believes that her unique career path has guided her on a path to view hotel and resort retail from the guest, brand, and ownership perspectives.

Wendy Easterday

Wendy spent the first 12 years of her career being educated by Nordstrom. This initial immersion into the “best real-world retail school” allowed Wendy to establish herself as a successful professional in the luxury retail arena (with an emphasis in the luxury niche of the hospitality industry).

She has a unique ability to connect with what the clients want: visual creativity, negotiation skills, business acumen and a keen awareness of fashion and style. Wendy has a true talent for merchandising.

In addition, she enjoys developing the retail teams’ talents through customer service and best practices training --- helping them to celebrate their own growth and success in the retail environment.

Anne Engelerdt Salcedo

Anne began her career at the top of the luxury hospitality sector with the Ritz Carlton group under the leadership of Horst Schulze and Herve Humler, where she found her niche in the then-untapped retail store potential inside hotel properties.

Her vast experience includes the opening of over 100 hotels stores around the world from shop concepts and design, to start-up and opening inventory, to maintaining highly profitable stores that always have a sense of place and are current with retail trends.

Anne branched off on her own in 2007 to form AES International in order to focus on a very specific passion of designing, merchandise planning and maintaining interesting - as well as profitable - stores within the hospitality industry.

She has designed, purchased for and opened every type of retail concept including gourmet, spa, ski, book, toy and gifts shops, as well as general stores, fragrance stores, and many types of boutiques for all climates far and wide around the world.
